Melanie Westheiden is a young potter from Nags Head, North Carolina. She graduated from UNC Wilmington with her BA in Studio Art in 2017. She has an enthusiasm for life and art, which can be seen in every aspect of her work. Her beautiful home on the Outer Banks and her travels inspire new pieces every time she steps in the studio. You will likely find her out and about with her dog, Nala, wearing clothes dirty with clay. All of the pieces that Melanie creates are food, microwave, and dishwasher safe. You can enjoy your morning cup of coffee in a mug made with love, while supporting a local artist.
